Crochet Bell Ornament Pattern

Crochet Large Bell Ornament Pattern: 



Materials Required:

3 mm crochet hook

Cotton yarn or acrylic yarn, White

Tapestry needle

Scissors

Abbreviations:

SC – single crochet

DC – Double crochet

HDC – Half Double Crochet

TC – Triple Crochet

SS – Slip stitch

MR – Magic Ring

Ch – Chain

Beg – beginning

Sts - stitches

Pattern: With white yarn, make ch 6 and join into a ring with 1 sl st into 1st ch.

Rnd 1: Ch 3 (=1st dc), work 11 dc around ring = 12 dc. End with a sl st into top of ch 3 at beg of rnd.

Rnd 2: Ch 3(= 1st dc), 1 dc in the same dc stitch and then 2 dc in each of the dc stitches around = 24 dc; end with 1 sl st into top of ch 3 at beg of rnd.

Rnds 3-7: Ch 3(= 1st dc), 1 dc in next dc, (ch 1, 2 dc) around, ending with ch 1, 1 sl st into top of ch 3 at beg of rnd = 12 dc groups with ch 1 in between each.

Rnd 8: ch 3(=1st dc), 2 dc in next dc, ch 1, (1 dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, ch 1) 12 times and end with 1 sl st into top of ch 3 at beg of rnd.

Rnd 9: make 1 sl st in each of next 2 stitches. *At the next ch 1 loop make (1 sc, 1 dc, 2 tr, 1 dc, 1 sc). Repeat from * 11 more times; end with 1 sl st into top of ch 3 at beg of rnd.

Chain 1, pull up loop and cut yarn and weave in the ends on wrong side. If desired, attach a bead inside the bell.

Cut yarn of desired length and insert the loose ends through the bell to make a knot.

Christmas tree bell ornament is ready!
