Crochet Wind Spinner Pattern
Abbreviations:
YO - Yarn Over
PT - Pull Through
SC - Single Crochet
DC - Double Crochet
RSC - Reverse Double crochet
Materials Used:
3 mm crochet hook
Size 4 yarn - acrylic or cotton
Beads - optional
Tapestry needle
Pattern Starts here:
Row 1: With color 1, leaving about 20 cm make a slip knot and 100 chain stitches. Leave about 20 cm and cut yarn.
Row 2: With color 2, leaving about 20 cm and insert hook into the first chain of the 100 chains from Row 1. YO and PT to secure the yarn; make 3 chains. Make 2 DC in the same chain stitch. Make 2 DC in each stitch across. Total 100 * 2 = 200 DC stitches. Leave about 20 cm and cut yarn.
Row 3: With color 3, leaving about 20 cm and insert hook into the 3rd chain at the beginning for Row 2. YO and PT to secure the yarn; make chain 3 and 2 DC in the same stitch. 3 DC in each of the stitches across. Total 200 * 3 = 600 DC stitches. Leave about 20 cm and cut yarn.
Row 4: With color 4, insert hook into the last stitch of Row 3 YO and PT. Make chain 1 to secure. Insert hook into next stitch onto your right side to make a reverse single crochet. 1 Reverse SC in each stitch across. Leave about 20 cm and cut yarn.
